Remote One-on-One Educational Rehabilitation Sessions

For pet parents outside of Massachusetts looking for convenient, effective, & efficient solutions to their pet’s mobility challenges, consider contacting EmpowerPhysio so that I can connect you to a qualified Pet Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation professional near you.  EmpowerPhysio does offer remote one-on-one educational rehabilitation sessions, too.

Though not ideal (hands on is best!), we can accomplish quite a bit through these consultations.  If you’re considering this option, I’ll ask you to send photos & videos of your pet in action & I’ll conduct a thorough interview process to screen you & your pet for this service.

Remote consultations can be scheduled at a time that is convenient for you, regardless of your location or time zone.  (I’ve met remotely with pet parents on four continents!)  Remote consultation also includes individualized recommendations for activities & exercises that can help you help your pet.  Further support is offered via email between & following our sessions.

We had the pleasure of working with Amie when our Border Collie, Tug, pulled up lame with a psoas strain. Amie examined Tug thoroughly on our first visit and then prescribed a series of exercises for her. Because schedules are busy, we did a lot of work with Amie via video! Before progressing to more difficult exercises or more strenuous activities, we’d send a series of videos of Tug doing her exercises and/or moving about. Amie would analyze them at full speed and in slow motion and would offer feedback, both about how Tug looked and what to do next. It was a great way allow Amie to closely guide Tug’s rehab, even though there were several weeks between visits.
